Explanations of the item number code

The last figure of the 5-digit item number code indicates:

5.0400 = polished rosewood handle
1 = red polypropylene handle, dishwasher-proof 2 = blue polypropylene handle, dishwasher-proof
2A = microban handle, dishwasher-proof
3 = black polypropylene handle, dishwasher-proof
or black FIBROX handle respectively with butchers knives 6 = other shape of handle
7 = white polypropylene handle, dishwasher-proof 8 = yellow FIBROX handle 9 = lacquered bubingawood handle

The penultimate figure denotes:

5.4100 = normal straight edge 10 =flexible blade 20 = fluted edge 30 = wavy edge 40 = saw edge 50 = 30 + 40

60 = other shape of blade 70 = 00 + saw edge

Where knives are available in several sizes, please note the length of blade which follows the 5 digit item number code, ie. 5.1800.15 or 5.2033.22.
